This policy describes the information REMI Bloom processes to provide plant care, scheduling, collaboration, and account features. For a self-hosted instance, the person or organization operating that instance controls its database, backups, server logs, integrations, and retention practices.
What we store
- Account data such as username, email, display name, and hashed password.
- Plant records, care schedules, journal entries, progress photos, and inventory.
- Uploaded images and optional plant identification results.
- Weather location preferences and notification settings.
- Shared garden membership, invitations, and caretaker activity history.
- Feature suggestions and plant wishlist entries you create.
Third-party services
Depending on your configuration, REMI Bloom may integrate with weather providers, plant identification services, SMTP email delivery, Gotify/Apprise notifications, and optional AI providers. Each integration sends only the data required for that feature.
Your choices
You can export your account data and request deletion from the tools available in Settings. Deleting an account may not immediately remove copies held in backups; the deployment operator controls backup rotation and any retention required for security or legal obligations.
Questions and requests
Use the channels on the Contact & Support page for privacy questions. Do not include passwords, API keys, notification tokens, or sensitive plant-location details in a public issue.
